Fishing in Sweden
At the beginning of this year we started a cooperation with Rydaholm Hunting & Fishing. Anton and his wife Erna, who have years of experience fishing and hunting in Sweden, thought it was an excellent idea to join hands and start this cooperation.
What does the cooperation entail? We will support each other in terms of fishing and hunting here in Sweden. Björkfors is in a totally different area in terms of vegetation and wildlife. The lakes are also different from each other, so there is something for everyone.
Björkfors - Outdoor will start offering complete fishing packages this year. This means that we can put together packages according to the customer's wishes. It is also possible to make a combined fishing trip, for example a few days in Björkfors and then a few days in Rydaholm.
We will offer the following services:
- Overnight stays in our super cozy B&B
- Breakfast and lunch to take away.
- Upon your return, you can enjoy a hot meal in the guest canteen.
In the evening, while enjoying a beer by the wood stove on the second floor, you can review the day and make plans for the next day. Boats are also provided, and if necessary you can hire a fishing guide to take you to the fishing hot spots.
Björkfors Fishing has two fully equipped aluminum fishing boats, each with a 20 hp outboard motor. They also feature an excellent fish finder, rod holders, and comfortable seats. Additionally, a Rana 14 is available, equipped with a 9.9 hp outboard motor.
Transfer from Linköping Airport (max. 4 people) is possible for anglers who want to skip the travel hassle and start fishing right away. As you can see, almost anything is possible, and we will do everything to ensure our guests have an unforgettable time.
Hunting in Sweden
Björkfors is currently exploring the possibilities for hunting in the immediate area. We are also working on acquiring hunting grounds of at least 100 hectares, where hunters can focus on fallow deer, wild boar, foxes, roe deer, and badgers. Our surroundings are home to many fallow deer.
As mentioned, Anton is experienced in this area. Together we will make sure that everything runs smoothly. Gun permits can also be arranged by us. For now, hunting trips take place through Rydaholm Hunting & Fishing, but we hope to be able to offer hunting trips here as well by the end of the year.
